STAFF AUDITOR
OVERVIEW
Perform a wide variety of audit functions specific to for-profit, non-profit, and quasi-governmental clients. Frequent same-day travel, and occasional out-of-town travel for work at clients’ offices. Be flexible to meet the needs of clients and firm. Seasonal overtime is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of compiled, reviewed, and audited financial statements
Application of and reporting on agreed upon procedures
Perform all audit functions and tests as prescribed in applicable audit programs
Identify accounting, compliance, and reporting issues
Maintain a working knowledge of all current auditing laws and statutes, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and auditing standards
Conduct research related to client work and internal projects
Provide timely, high quality client service
Managing client expectations and assisting clients with their audit and other related questions
Attend Continuing Professional Education to develop your interpersonal skills and professional expertise

Develop and maintain client relationships
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Accounting degree or educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam required
Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards related to non-profit, for profit, and quasi-governmental audits
Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
Effective, timely, and professional communication skills
Flexible team player who is also able to work independently
Ability to maintain confidentiality required
Desire to continue to develop and enhance skills
Exceptional time management skills with an ability to organize and prioritize projects, and meet deadlines
