The Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) is now requiring Multifactor Authentication for system access. This will provide an additional layer of security, protecting against unauthorized access threats. EFTPS is partnering with ID.me, a third-party credential service provider.
Please visit ID.me to set up your authentication by October 19, 2023 if you are making payments through EFTPS, to comply with the new Multifactor Authentication requirements. Instructions on how to create an ID.me login are provided below.
