Kari C. Steinbeisser, CPA, CFE, has been promoted to Manager.
Kari Steinbeisser joined CDS in 2011. She graduated from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Kari received her CPA certification from the Minnesota State Board of Accountancy in 2011. In 2014, she received her Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) certification. In 2014, Kari was promoted to Senior Accountant. Her focus areas include auditing governmental organizations, including cities and schools, and forensic accounting. Kari is the Chairperson of our Government Accounting & Auditing Committee.
Kari is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (AFCE). She is a member of the Governmental Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and of the City Review Task Force through the MNCPA. Kari is a 2013 graduate from the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Perspectives program. She is a board member and volunteer for Junior Achievement and a member of the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce’s NeXt organization. Kari also volunteers for Rotary Reading Buddies in the Willmar Public Schools, United Way of West Central Minnesota and Salvation Army.
Wendy D. Holle, CPA, has been promoted to Manager.
Wendy Holle joined CDS in 2005 as a Staff Accountant. Prior to CDS, she worked in accounting for two years. Wendy graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, with a concentration in Financial Management. She was promoted to Senior Accountant in 2009. Wendy received her CPA certification from the Minnesota State Board of Accountancy in 2015. She specializes in governmental auditing.
Wendy is a member of the Governmental Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA). She is on the City Audit Review and the School District Audit Review Task Forces through the MNCPA. Wendy is a member of the Ridgewater College Accounting Program Advisory Board. She is a 2012 graduate of the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Perspectives program and a 2015 graduate of Vision 20/40 Leadership program. Wendy volunteers with the Willmar Area Community Foundation Good Samaritan Committee, United Way of West Central Minnesota and Litchfield Empower.
