Q: Tell us about your family.
A: I grew up in the Willmar area graduating from Willmar High School in 2019. My dad, Matt, works at Willmar Municipal Utilities and my mom, Krista, works in the Kandiyohi County building downtown. I also have one younger sister, Abby, who is graduating from Willmar High School this June.
Q: Tell us about yourself.
A: One of my biggest passions in life is track and field. I was fortunate enough to run for my college the past four years and I now spend my time helping coach the Willmar high school team track team. I also like to stay active by playing golf and disk golf with friends and family. Lastly, one thing most do not know about me is I have a small shoe reselling business I run on the side in my free time.
Q: What inspired your career path?
A: Blair Seim, my first accounting professor at Upper Iowa University. Blair was always able to provide a great classroom environment no matter what course he was teaching. Blair provided an in-depth understanding of accounting as well as great life advice I will never forget!
Q: Why CDS?
After my internship here last summer, I knew CDS was a special place. CDS has a variety of different professional services that are backed by a strong and inviting cast of team members that can really help me grow within the accounting profession.
