Q: What do you like best about working with non-profit audit clients?
A: My favorite part of working for non-profit clients is the ability to indirectly help others in need. Generally, non-profit clients are helping a specific group of people. By ensuring they are operating efficiently and are in sound financial position I am, in turn, making sure that more people are being helped and also that donors’ investments are being used properly.
Q: Tell us about your family.
A: My husband, James, and I live in Hutchinson with our two daughters. James is an installation and service technician for Leedstone, Inc. Both girls love music and dancing. As a family, we often have our own cooking/baking challenges, which has been a great way to try new foods.
Q: Do you have any hobbies?
A: I enjoy reading and cooking. I am working to re-ignite my love of running. I also enjoy spending time with my family doing crafts, playing games, and enjoying time outdoors.
Q: What are you looking forward to most?
A: I look forward to being a part of the CDS team and the positive culture here. I hope to be a positive leader and team player!
Q: How do you stay up-to-date on auditing changes and trends?
A: Constantly learning new technical and inter-personal skills through industry trainings, reading, and surrounding myself with other like-minded professionals.
