Q: What inspired your career path?
A: It’s actually a funny story! My dad is an accountant and as a kid, his job seemed very boring. He would ask which of us kids would be an accountant like him when we grew up and everyone would say “Not me!”. When I reached junior year in High School, my dad said each of us had to take the accounting class offered. So, I enrolled in the class and it was an instant fit and I loved it. Mr. Wittrock even let me finish the text book the following year and ordered a college text book for me to work out of on my own. The rest is history. P.S. Accounting isn’t boring 😊
Q: Tell us about your family.
A: My husband, Chris, and I live in Litchfield with our two daughters. Chris works at IRD Glass in the new products department. Our daughters like going on adventures, so most weekends we are out somewhere fun even if it’s just a local park, Grandma and Papa’s house to bounce on their trampoline, or my oldest daughter’s favorite: shopping at Target!
Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?
A: I enjoy spending time on adventures with my family. I also enjoy reading books, gardening, and scrapbooking.
Q: Why CDS?
A: The people and culture seemed amazing in the interviewing and hiring process. Also, the amount of opportunities to continue to learn and grow in my career while helping the clients. I can’t wait to be a part of all of it!
