Q: Tell us about your family.
A: My husband, Kole, and I live in Willmar with our two children. We enjoy spending time together in any way we can, which often includes lake days, dirt track racing, and lots of concerts.
Q: What inspired your career path?
A: I’ve always loved numbers and the occasional puzzle. I discovered early on that accounting gave me the opportunity to work with both. However, finding where I fit in was a harder task. I knew I loved working with people, and it was important to me that my work made a difference. Governmental auditing allows me to do just that! I get to help organizations that have not only impacted my life, but also the lives of thousands of others, continue to do what they do best: educate and bring the community together.
Q: Why CDS?
A: I chose to begin my career at CDS because of the amazing work environment they offer. In just a short time, I’ve made friends, been shown grace and respect regarding family matters, and had exposure to opportunities for growth! It’s quite simple, actually—CDS not only checked my boxes, but exceeded my expectations.
