Q: What inspired your career path?
A: I was actually going to go to school to be a Special Education Teacher for Elementary students and I took an accounting class and fell in LOVE. I knew that is what I wanted to do. I love numbers and everything came easy to me.
Q: Tell us about your family.
A: My husband, Chris, and I live on a farm outside of Granite Falls with our 4 kids Otillia (7), Charles (6), Alma (4), and Henry (2). Chris is the Planning and Zoning Administrator and Ditch Inspector for Yellow Medicine County; he also helps his family farm organic crop and raise livestock. I am the oldest of three girls. My parents, Terry and Dana, along with my sisters, Christina and Josie, and their beautiful families still live in Nebraska.
Q: Tell us about any interesting facts or hobbies!
A: I am from a small town in Nebraska – population of 160 people. I love sports. I was in volleyball, basketball, track, and softball in high school and went to college on a volleyball scholarship.
Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?
A: My family and I live on a farm so we are always busy with cows, horses, chickens, sheep, goats, chores, and organic farming. We have over 150 sheep and 60 goats that we lamb/kid every January through March. We love to garden, ride motorcycle, camp, and spend time with family and friends!
