NEW HIRES

Mitch Gwost recently joined CDS as a Staff Accountant in our Sartell office. He was an intern for CDS in 2019. He graduated from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Mitch’s focus areas are on tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and retirement plan auditing.

Mitch is a volunteer for the Sartell Adopt-a-Street program.

Erin Zondervan recently joined CDS as a Staff Accountant in our Sartell office. She was an intern for CDS in 2019. Erin graduated from University of Wisconsin-Superior in Superior, WI with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Erin’s focus areas are on tax preparation and bookkeeping.

Connor Cronen recently joined CDS as a Staff Accountant in our Willmar office. He was an intern for CDS in 2019. Connor graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. His focus area is tax preparation.

PROMOTIONS

Brenda Parsley, CPA, has been promoted to Manager at CDS. She joined CDS in 2016 as a Staff Accountant in our Willmar office. Brenda graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN with Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance with a Corporate Finance Concentration. She received her CPA certification from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy in 2017. Brenda was promoted to Senior Accountant in 2018. Her focus area is governmental auditing.

Brenda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA). She is an active volunteer for the United Way of West Central Minnesota and is a member of the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce’s neXt organization. Brenda is a 2019 graduate of the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Perspectives program and a 2020 graduate of the Vision 2040 Leadership program.

Shawn Hanson has been promoted to Senior Accountant at CDS. He joined CDS in 2018 as a Staff Accountant in our Willmar office. Shawn graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN with Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. His focus area is governmental auditing.

Shawn is a member of the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce’s neXt organization. He is a volunteer for the Salvation Army.

OUR NEWEST QUICKBOOKS PROADVISORS

Lorie Grindberg recently received her Online and Desktop QuickBooks ProAdvisor certifications. She joined CDS in 2019 as a Bookkeeper in our Willmar office. Prior to CDS, Lorie worked in accounting for over thirty years. She graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting. Lorie’s focus areas are bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and payroll.

She is a member of the North Dakota CPA Society.

Jessica VanLanduyt recently received her Certified Desktop and Online QuickBooks ProAdvisor certifications. She joined CDS in 2019 as a Staff Accountant in our Litchfield office. Prior to CDS she worked in accounting for twelve years. Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College in Adelphi, MD. Her focus areas are tax preparation and bookkeeping.

Jessica is a board member for the Litchfield Public Library and the Eden Valley Area Library. She serves as the Finance Committee Chair and bookkeeper for the Eden Valley Area Library.
