ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
FOR AUDIT TEAMS
ON-SITE, HYBRID, OR REMOTE

OVERVIEW

Ensuring the successful coordination of audit services between clients and team members. Supports the internal audit administration process for team members within the for profit, non-profit, and local governmental entity service lines. Be flexible to meet the needs of clients and the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with clients and team members to schedule fieldwork and internal deadlines
  • Support administrative assistant functions for audit specific duties
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Set up audit files including preparation and delivery of engagement letters
  • Facilitate obtaining necessary client documents for audit
  • Assist in the financial statement preparation process
  • Import trial balances into audit software
  • Manage finalization processes and deadlines for audit departments
  • Assemble, track, and log confirmation letters with audit files
  • Responsible for tracking Requests for Proposals (RFPs), gathering and researching data, and developing proposals
  • Submit required reports to state and federal governmental agencies
  • Suggest opportunities to standardize current processes in client engagements and internal departmental functions for increased efficiency and effectiveness
  • Conduct research
  • Participate in CDS’s Audit Committees
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships

  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • AA degree and/or experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel, will train for using additional in-house software
  • Detail oriented
  • Effective, timely, and professional communication skills
  • Flexible team player who is also able to work independently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Desire to continue to develop and enhance skills
  • Exceptional time management skills, ability to organize and prioritize projects, and meet deadlines

  • Strong computer aptitude
