The CEPA credential is one of the most respected and widely recognized designations in the exit-planning industry. Achieving this certification positions Jeff and Jennifer among an elite group of professionals equipped to help business owners build value, prepare for transition, and align their business, personal, and financial goals.
The is awarded to those professionals who meet the experience and education requirements, attend a rigorous, online, 5-day credentialing program, and pass the proctored exam.
Jeff joined in 2005. He graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree. Jeff was admitted as Partner in 2016. He specializes in tax planning and preparation, business consulting, business exit planning, international tax, multi-state tax, and the agribusiness and petroleum industries. Jeff is the Co-Chair of CDS’s Tax Committee.
Jennifer joined CDS in 2004. Prior to CDS, she worked in public accounting for five years. Jennifer graduated from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN with an Associate of Arts degree and from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, CO with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Jennifer was admitted as a Partner in 2012. She is a member of our CDS Tax committee. Jennifer specializes in tax planning and preparation, multi-state and international tax, business exit planning, business consulting, manufacturing, and franchise services.
