RICHARD (RICK)
E. CONWAY
Certified Public Accountant
Rick has over 30 years of experience in
public accounting. Rick is one of the founding partners of
Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing, PLLP. He is a graduate of
St. Cloud State University, and received his CPA certification
in 1985. His primary focus includes working with management
and individuals on financial, tax, and managerial issues
faced within a rapid changing business environment. His experience
in financial and managerial areas helps him to provide input
on the establishment and implementation of short-term and
long-term goals for his clients.
Rick is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants (AICPA), the Minnesota Society of Certified
Public Accountants and the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of
Commerce. He has served on the Board of Directors for various
organizations, including the Rice Hospital Board. Rick is
a member and past president of the Rotary Club and is Chairman
of the Finance Committee of St. Mary's Church in Willmar.

ROGER
A. DEUTH

Roger
has had over 30 years of public accounting experience. Roger
specializes in tax planning, small business consulting and
auditing. Roger graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University
with a degree in accounting in 1972 and received his CPA certification
in 1976. He earned his designation as a Certified Valuation
Analyst in 2004.
Roger is a member
of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
(AICPA), the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants,
and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts
(NACVA). In addition, Roger is also active in the community,
where he currently serves on various civic Board of Directors
and is a past president of the Willmar Rotary Club. |

MILAN C. SCHMIESING
Certified Public Accountant
Milan
graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1962. He then
served four years in the Air Force.
Thereafter, Milan graduated
from the Willmar Technical Institute in 1970. He began
working for Latham & Parker, CPA's in December 1969,
where he later became a partner. Milan merged his practice
with Conway, Deuth & Associates
in 1985. Milan received his CPA certificate in March 1976,
and was the first Technical School graduate in the state
of Minnesota
to earn this distinction. Milan practices in various accounting
and tax areas, with a specialty in auditing and estate
planning.
He is a past president of Willmar Opportunities
Inc., Willmar Noon Lions and Willmar Community Golf Club,
Inc. He has also
served on the Willmar Planning Commission and the Willmar
Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the American Institute
of Certified
Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Minnesota Society
of Certified Public Accountants. |

MARK R. OLSON

Certified
Specialist in Estate Planning™
Mark has been with Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing,
PLLP since the firm was founded in 1985, becoming a partner
in 1986. He
has over 28 years of experience in public accounting. Mark
graduated from Willmar High School in 1971 and Willmar Technical
College
in 1975. He received his CPA certification in 1985. Mark
practices in a variety of accounting and tax areas, but specializes
in
farm accounting and taxation, individual and corporate taxation
and planning, estate taxation, and business succession planning.
Mark is a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Minnesota
Society of Certified
Public Accountants. He is a member and past president of
the Willmar
Sertoma Club, and currently serves on the boards of the
Ridgewater College Foundation and Dovre Township. |

BRETT
N. AAMOT
Certified Public Accountant
Brett has been with Conway, Deuth &
Schmiesing, PLLP, since the firm was founded in 1985, becoming
a partner in 1989. He obtained his CPA designation in 1985,
and was listed in The Twin Cities Monthly and Minnesota Law
and Politics as a "Super CPA" in 2001 and 2002.
Brett practices
in a variety of accounting and tax areas, but concentrates
on auditing, and small business consulting. He is active in
a number of local civic organizations, including the Willmar
Youth Football Association, and currently serves as an officer
for the United Way of Kandiyohi County. He is a member of
the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA),
the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, and
the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. |

LARRY
E. STULEN
Certified Public Accountant
Larry has been
with Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing since the
firm was founded in 1985. He became a partner in the firm in
1991. Larry is a graduate of Ridgewater College in Willmar
and received his CPA certification in 1985. Larry practices
in a
variety of accounting and tax areas, but concentrates in farm
accounting, individual and corporate taxation, and small business
consulting.
Larry is active in the community where he serves
as Chaplain of the Willmar Sertoma Service Club, Advisory Board
Member
at Ridgewater College, and on the Council of his Church.
Larry is a member of

the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, and
the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. |

JAMES
A. GILMAN
Certified Public Accountant
Jim established his own accounting practice in Willmar in
September of 1981 after working for McGladrey and Pullen for
four years. On October 2, 1995, Jim merged his practice in
with CDS and became a partner.
He is a native of Mankato and attended
Mankato State University receiving a B.S. degree in accounting
in 1977. Jim passed the
CPA exam in the fall of 1977 while working for McGladrey
as a Senior Accountant and Consultant. Currently, he is licensed
to
practice in Minnesota, Iowa and South Dakota.
He is a member
of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
(AICPA) and Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
In addition, Jim serves on the board of the Bethesda Homes
Foundation in Willmar and is Treasurer of Redeemer Lutheran
Church in Willmar. Jim is a member of the Willmar Noon Lions
Club, serving as President in 1992-1993 and currently is club
secretary and serves on the District Governor's Council as
District Treasurer. He has served on committees with the Chamber
of Commerce, Willmar Fest and Mayor's Prayer Breakfast. |

ANNETTE
R. BENSON
Certified Public Accountant
Annette has been an integral part of our
organization since 1983. Following graduation from the Accounting
program at Ridgewater College, she began working for Conway,
Deuth & Associates as a Computer Operator. She progressed
rapidly through the ranks, serving as Bookkeeper, Internal
Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, Manager, Senior Manager, and
in 1997, Partner. She practices in a variety of accounting
and tax areas, but concentrates on auditing and small business
consulting.
Annette became a Certified
Public Accountant (CPA) in 1990. She is a member of
the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA),
the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA)
and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Annette
is involved in the Willmar Lakes Rotary and United Way of
Kandiyohi County. She is also an active member at First Baptist
Church of Willmar by serving as Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees,
the Chair of the Endowment Committee, a member of the Audit
Committee and a leader of mission trips to the Ukraine.

LAWRENCE
R. WEPPLO
Certified Public Accountant
Larry began employment with Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing,
PLLP in June of 1988. He received his accounting degree from
Ridgewater College in 1988 and earned his CPA designation
in 1991. He held the positions of Staff Accountant, Senior
Accountant and Manager prior to his promotion to Partner in
January of 2001. He practices in all areas of accounting,
with a special emphasis on governmental and not-for-profit
accounting, consulting and auditing. He currently chairs the
CDS Accounting and Auditing committee.
An active member of our community,
Larry is the President of Main Street Willmar, a member of
the Willmar Noon Kiwanis and has served on the Willmar Fest
and Willmar Jaycees Boards. He is a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Society
of CPAs, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. |

JAMES
(JIM) J. RUDNICK
Certified Public Accountant
Jim graduated from Appleton High School in 1989. He received
his accounting degree from Ridgewater College in 1991, and
earned his CPA certification in 1995. He has been with Conway,
Deuth & Schmiesing, PLLP since 1991, becoming a Partner
in January of 2003. He practices in a variety of accounting
and tax areas, focusing on tax planning and consulting, farm
accounting and business and individual tax preparation.
Jim is on the Board
of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Kandiyohi County and
is active in Willmar Jaycees. He is a member of the American
Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota
Society of Certified Public Accountants. |

PAUL
A. HARVEGO
Certified
Public Accountant
Paul was raised in the small farm community of
Rothsay, Minnesota, and graduated from Rothsay High School
in 1970. After working
in the construction and well drilling field, Paul attended
Alexandria Technical School, graduating in 1980, and then joined
the accounting firm of Gruys Johnson and Associates. In October
of 1988, he accepted a position with Fawcett, Young & Associates,
Ltd. in Litchfield, MN. He received his CPA certificate in
January 1989 and became a principal with Fawcett, Young & Associates
Ltd. in October of 1989.
Paul practices in a variety of accounting and
tax areas, but his primary focus is in governmental auditing,
of which he
received the Certificate of Educational Achievement in government
accounting and auditing in 1990.
Paul is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (AICPA) and the Minnesota Society of Certified
Public Accountants. Community involvement has been with Litchfield
Rotary (past President), Litchfield Youth Hockey, Litchfield
Chamber of Commerce, Litchfield Watercade and Litchfield
Community Drive. |

MICHAEL
(MIKE) A. JOHNSON

Valuation Analyst
Mike
has over thirty years of public accounting practice including
over twenty years owning and managing his own practice in
St. Cloud, MN. Mike specializes in helping businesses analyze
acquisition and sale opportunities, including business valuation,
income tax planning, business consulting, accounting, and
analysis. Mike's long experience with numerous small business
clients and ownership of his own practice helps him to relate
to and understand the challenges faced by today's business
owners. His experience helps these clients relate technical
information into everyday solutions.
Mike
graduated from Rochester Community and Technical College in
1974 and received his CPA designation in 1985. Mike received
the CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) designation in 2001.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, Minnesota Society of Public Accountants, Institute
of Business Appraisers, and National Association of Certified
Valuation Analysts. Mike currently serves as advisor to the
Terrace Mill Foundation Board and served as treasurer of that
organization for four years. He has served a number of organizations
including Trustee of St. Michael's Church in St. Cloud and
a board member of Sts. Peter, Paul and Michael School System
in St. Cloud. Mike is also a Benedictine Oblate of St. John's
Abbey in Collegeville, MN.
