Summary
of Responsibilities
Provide
clerical support for CDS Partners and staff in the Litchfield office.
Responsible for customer service functions for the front desk.
Essential
Functions
First point of contact and resource for clients.
Provide clerical support to staff.
General receptionist duties including answering phones and directing
clients to the
appropriate staff.
Customer service.
Processing of tax returns, financial statements and audit reports.
Filing and pulling of client files.
File maintenance and preparation.
Scheduling of appointments.
Accounts receivable.
Bank deposits.
Sorting and distributing mail.
Education,
Experience, and Skills Required
AA degree and/or experience as an Administrative
Assistant/Receptionist.
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently
with ease and professionalism.
Ability to operate computer and other
office equipment.
Excellent communication skills.
Auditor
Summary
of Responsibilities
Engage in all areas of the
firm's audit practice. Work closely with Partner-in-Charge on audit
engagements.
Essential
Functions
Perform all
audit functions and tests as prescribed in applicable audit programs.
Delegate specific
audit programs and duties, provide training to junior staff members,
review workpapers, financial statements
and reports prior to final review.
Prepare proposals
and responses to bid requests for prospective audit clients.
Maintain a working
knowledge of all current auditing laws, statutes, etc.
Provide insight
and feedback to Partner-in-Charge of audit engagement.
Prepare, or
direct preparation of, complete financial statements and related
reports for audit clients.
Education,
Experience, and Skills Required
Accounting degree
required.
Well-rounded
auditing knowledge.
Ability to communicate
effectively and professionally with clients and other staff.
Flexible,
team player.
Accountant
Summary
of Responsibilities
Perform a wide variety of
diversified accounting and tax assignments under the supervision
of different partners and senior accountants.
Essential
Functions
Record transactions in ledgers, prepare trail balances and
simple financial statements
using computer software.
Reconcile accounts
to control accounts.
Perform scheduled
computations of accruals, property and equipment, and calculate
depreciation expense.
Perform audits
or review procedures as requested.
Prepare payroll
tax, sales or other business tax and personal income returns.
Assist in proofing
financial statements, tax returns and other documents.
Perform other
accounting, auditing and tax duties as needed in engagements and
as assigned by Partners.
Education,
Experience, and Skills Required
Accounting degree
required.
Well-rounded
knowledge of accounting principles and personal income tax.
Ability to communicate
effectively and professionally with clients and other staff.
Flexible,
team player.
