Larry Wepplo2

Our Partner and friend, Larry Wepplo, passed away on April 2, 2011. Larry has been an integral part of our firm for the past 23 years. He began his career with Conway, Deuth & Schmiesing, PLLP in 1988, after graduating from the accounting program at Ridgewater College. In 1992 he became a Certified Public Accountant, and in 2001 he became a Partner.

Larry was an active leader in our firm; he was excellent at training staff and served as an informal mentor to many. Larry was dedicated to his clients, staff and Partners and his professionalism was an example for those who were fortunate to work with him. He developed strong client relationships and specialized in taxation as well as commercial, governmental and not-for-profit auditing, consulting and accounting. Larry was highly regarded for his devotion and commitment to our firm and the accounting profession.

Larry was also committed to our community and was generous with his time and talents. He served as the Treasurer for Main Street Willmar, the Willmar Area Community Foundation and
E-quip Africa. Larry was a member of the Willmar Noon Kiwanis and was on the Sacramental Life Committee at St. Mary’s Church in Willmar.

We are thankful for the privilege to have had Larry as part of our CDS team, and for his dedication to our clients, firm and profession.
